Cannock Gates Ltd

Cannock Gates are manufactures of metal gates and fencing and deliver their direct from the factory products across the UK

This manufacturer were a new client for us, and had asked us to attend site to quote for heater supplies. After a successful quotation and install, shortly after, Cannock Gates commissioned us to undertake a full inspection of an existing installation. This was taken out over a two day period and a full report was issued to the client, with recommendations of upgrading the existing lighting etc to LED. After a quotation was submitted and a meeting with the client, the works were agreed, and over a three month period we carried out the following:

    • Replaced all existing high bay lighting with LED type fittings
    • a new 250 amp distribution board was installed with new submain back to main panel board
    • emergency LED lighting was installed throughout the warehouse areas.
    • A lighting control panel was made up by ourselves for ease of local switching and emergency testing.
    • All redundant / existing fuseboards were removed or replaced with new items
    • store areas / toilets were fully rewired back to new distribution , fully tested and commissioned.
    • New LED flood lighting was added to the front elevation to illuminate car park / delivery yard.
    • Numerous other supplies were installed at the clients request.
    • All existing wiring etc was contained with various cable trays and metal ties to meet current regulations

The client was issued with all documentation and were very happy with the work we had taken out.

After this project, we were asked to return and fully inspect the client’s other units including their metal works. The inspection has now been done, and a similar order of electrical works has placed by the client and are now being carried out, to the same specification and standard as the above.
